先週の木曜日、7名のダラムキャンパスの学生たちがブラウニーズ（7‐10歳女子の活動グループ）で日本文化を教えてきました。折り紙、書道、箸の使い方、浴衣の試着等、熱心な子供たちと一緒に楽しく取り組みました。

On Thursday evening last week 7 students and myself went to carry out a Japanese Culture evening for the 1st Langley Park Brownies group. We taught origami, calligraphy, some essential Japanese and how to use chopsticks. In addition, they could try on the Yukata we brought with us (traditional Japanese clothes similar to kimono)! It was an enjoyable evening as the Brownies in the group were really enthusiastic and hard working! At the end of the evening, the group leader gave us a thank you card and some chocolates. The card is written in Japanese and English and is up on our events noticeboard in the LHCC. We hope to see them again soon!
