Our students have recently paid Newcastle University’s Hancock Museum a visit! There is a great variety of interesting exhibits in the Hancock Museum, including natural history, information and artefacts from Ancient Egypt and a wealth of archaeological finds which were discovered across the 73 mile stretch of Hadrian’s Wall. It was great to see the students taking an interest in very different aspects of the museum, with some showing enthusiasm for the prehistoric displays and some engaging with the history of the Roman Empire. After having a thorough browse of the museum’s exhibitions, the students picked their favourite part of the museum to discuss in the form of a classroom presentation.
