Blog: Christmas Card Morning

Christmas Card Morning blog.jpgThe Teikyo Durham students were very excited to welcome 26 schoolchildren from St Michael’s School, Esh Village on Tuesday morning. The children, aged only eight and nine years old came to make Christmas cards, try Christmas themed origami and enjoy conversation and Christmas themed snacks with the thirteen Teikyo students.

The morning was a great success, with the children having great fun making many Christmas cards using lots and lots of glitter glue and sparkly stickers as well as origami shapes which Teikyo students helped them make.

The morning concluded with a group photograph in front of the beautiful Christmas tree in the Foyer of LHCC which the Teikyo students had thoroughly enjoyed decorating earlier in the week.
